Darkness to Light’s Stewards of Children® is approved by the Indiana Department of Education to meet abuse prevention training mandated for all school staff every two years.

This training is funded by grants obtained by the Indiana Center for Prevention of Youth Abuse and Suicide and these funds are specific to Indiana residents. Therefore we ask that people who live outside of Indiana check Darkness to Light's website (D2L.org) to find a training in their area.

Stewards of Children® is a child sexual abuse prevention program developed by the national organization Darkness to Light. This evidence-informed program educates adults to prevent, recognize and react appropriately to child sexual abuse. This training program is designed for parents and any adults who work with children or adolescents. This award-winning program has been provided to over 2 million adults across 78 countries.

This event is HYBRID. Registrants will be asked to choose virtual or in-person. The training link and materials will be sent to virtual participants prior to the training.
